Chocolate Shake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa mix
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 pt. vanilla ice cream (about 3 c.)
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    In a heavy medium-sized saucepan, stir sugar and water over low heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat and bring to a boil. Whisk sugar syrup into a small bowl with the cocoa. Return to saucepan and boil 1 minute, whisking constantly. Pour into bowl. Mix in vanilla and cool completely. Cover and chill until cold, at least 1 hour. Pour chocolate syrup and milk into blender and mix. Gradually add ice cream, blending each time until smooth. Makes 2 glasses.
