Ingredients

2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 stick margarine
2 eggs, separated
1/2 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients.
Pour into top of double boiler and heat. Cook until thick and spoon some of this hot mixture over beaten egg yolks; return to pan. Cook 2 minutes longer.
Add vanilla, margarine and coconut.
Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue.
