Zesty Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 rib chops (3/4-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1/2 c. hickory-flavored catsup
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 large tart apple, sliced
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Brown chops in oil.
    Combine sauce ingredients, reserving 1/2 cup
    mixture.
    Pour
    over chops.
    Simmer over low heat for 25 minutes.
    Place apple slices over chops and add remaining sauce. Cover
    and\tsimmer 25 minutes longer.
    Blend cornstarch with sauce and cook until thick.
