Salmon Cheese Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. canned salmon, drained
1/2 c. cooked mashed potatoes
1 envelope onion soup mix
25 saltine crackers, crushed
1 large egg or 2 small eggs
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Cajun seasoning (if desired)
1/2 lb. cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (Cheddar, Swiss or Mozzarella)
bread crumbs
bacon grease
Preparation

Mix the first 8 ingredients well.
Shape mixture into little balls the size of a walnut.
Push cube of cheese into the center and reshape ball.
Roll in bread crumbs and fry in bacon grease on all sides.
