No Peek Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef chuck, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 pkg. Lipton soup mix
    1 c. ginger ale
    1 can mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch (mix with 3 Tbsp. water)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Place meat in a 13 x 9-inch pan (lightly greased).
    In a bowl, combine mushroom soup, soup mix, ginger ale, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce and ginger.
    Mix well.
    Pour over meat.
    Cover pan with foil.
    Bake in preheated oven for 3 hours. No peeking.
    Place pan on burner.
    Uncover.
    Stir cornstarch in water.
    Heat and stir to thicken pieces.
    Stir in sour cream. Serve with noodles or mashed potatoes.
