Lemon Nut Cake - cooking recipe

1 qt. pecan halves
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
2 c. flour
1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
pinch of salt
6 eggs
2 c. flour
1 1/2 oz. lemon extract
Preparation

Mix together pecans, cherries, pineapple and flour; set aside.
Cream together butter, sugar and salt. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and lemon extract. Add the nut and fruit mixture. Pour in greased and floured tube pan. Bake 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
