Turkey Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 chopped onion
    1 diced green pepper
    3 cloves chopped garlic
    2 lb. ground turkey
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. cumin
    salt to taste
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies (optional)
    1 can whole tomatoes, chopped
    2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Preparation
    Saute onion, pepper and garlic in oil about 6 minutes; then add turkey and cook until browned.
    Add to mixture and cook 1 minute the chili powder, cumin and oregano.
    Next add green chilies, tomatoes, tomato paste, broth, beans and salt.
    Simmer until serving time.
    Best served on rice with grated cheese on top, if desired.
