1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. M&M's plain candy
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour*
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

*If using self-rising flour, omit soda and salt.
