Cranberry Orange Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Mix ingredients.
Mix in thoroughly 2 tablespoons Crisco with a pastry cutter.
Add grated rind and juice of 1 orange plus extra orange juice if needed to make 3/4 cup.
Add 1 beaten egg.
Fold in 1 cup raw cranberries cut in halves.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan.
