Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
4 beaten egg yolks (reserve whites)
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 c. buttermilk
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
4 stiffly beaten egg whites
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients together.
Mix flour and buttermilk in alternately with ingredients.
Add coconut, pecans and vanilla. Fold in egg whites.
Pour into 2 greased and floured 8-inch round cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
