Cowboy Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pintos
    2 lb. ham or ham hock
    2 onions, chopped
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 green chilies
    1 large can tomato paste
Preparation
    Wash beans and soak overnight.
    Place beans in large kettle and cover with water, add other ingredients and cook until tender. Serves 12.
    Half of recipe serves 6.
