Gelatin Heavenly Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. Jell-O (any flavor)
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. cold water
    ice cubes
    1 c. thawed Cool Whip or sour cream
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Completely dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water.
    Combine cold water and ice to make 1 1/4 cups.
    Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened.
    Remove any unmelted ice.
    Add whipped topping, blending until smooth.
    Stir in pineapple, oranges, marshmallows and nuts.
    Pour into serving bowl or dessert dishes.
    Chill until set, about 2 hours.
