Sourdough Bread Starter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. warm water
Preparation
    Sprinkle the dry yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Let stand until dissolved.
    Stir well.
    Put into a jar and cover.
    Add to other ingredients; mix well.
    Cover and let stand for 2 or 3 days at 78\u00b0.
    Stir the mixture down daily.
