Cauliflower Chowder(Yields 4 To 6 Servings) - cooking recipe

1 c. cauliflower, chopped coarsely
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 3/4 c. chicken broth
1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. shredded Jarlsberg or Swiss cheese
Preparation

In medium saucepan, combine cauliflower, green pepper, onion and thyme.
Add chicken broth.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
Stir milk into flour.
Stir into broth mixture; cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
Add cheese, stirring just until melted.
Serve immediately.
