Onion Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. extra lean ground beef
    2/3 c. low fat cottage cheese
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 medium onions, sliced
Preparation
    Blend ground beef with cottage cheese, egg and salt.
    Divide into four portions and shape into large patties.
    Heat margarine in skillet.
    Add onions; saute over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from pan; keep warm.
    Saute patties 2 to 3 minutes on each side or is done to your taste and liking.
    Add onions back to pan to reheat.
    Divide onions between meat patties.
