Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. mini marshmallows
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (save juice)
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    4 c. unpeeled apples, diced
    lemon juice
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped peanuts
Preparation
    Day 1:
    Mix marshmallows and pineapple in covered bowl overnight.
    Mix pineapple juice, beaten egg, sugar, flour and vinegar.
    Cook slowly, stirring constantly until thick. Refrigerate, covered, overnight.
