Hot Pot Recipe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. chuck steak, cut into 1-inch cubes and tossed in seasoned flour
    2 oz. fat or oil
    2 oz. mushrooms
    2 medium size onions, sliced
    3 carrots, sliced
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    salt and pepper
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    2 level Tbsp. flour
    1/2 pt. beef broth
Preparation
    Heat oil in skillet and brown meat all over.
    Put in oven-safe pan.
    Brown vegetables in skillet.
    Add to meat along with mushrooms and garlic.
    Sprinkle the flour over any fat or juices in the pan.
    Stir and cook before gradually adding the stock.
    Bring to a boil.
    Season well and pour over meat.
    Cover and cook in oven slowly at 325\u00b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
    Thicken gravy, if necessary, before serving.
    Good served over rice or noodles.
