Old-Fashioned Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. ginger
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large bowl cream together molasses, shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Bake for 25 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
    Serve warm or at room temperature.
