Sweet Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. milk
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
12 or 13 c. flour
1/2 cake regular yeast
1 pt. lukewarm water
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Measure water.
Add yeast and set aside.
Place milk, salt, sugar and shortening in saucepan; scald.
Place flour in a large pan.
Mix cooled milk mixture with some of the flour.
Add yeast and knead.
Set aside, covered, until it is doubled.
Knead and make rolls.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
