My Favorite Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
    8 to 10 apples
Preparation
    Peel, core and cut apples in slices and spread in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan that has been buttered. Work together with a fork, pastry blender or fingers the remaining ingredients until crumbly. Spread over the apples and bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
    Test apples with fork to be sure they are cooked. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream.
