Ingredients

1/2 c. rice
4 c. milk
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. seeded raisins
shake of cinnamon
dash of salt
Preparation

Combine rice, milk, sugar and salt.
Pour ingredients into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Bake in slow oven (300\u00b0) 1 hour, stirring several times.
Add lemon peel, nutmeg and raisins; continue baking 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Serves 6.
