Chocolate Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 tsp. corn syrup
1/3 c. cocoa (Hershey's)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. walnut meats
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt (I use a little more)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream Crisco, sugar and corn syrup.
Add eggs, then dry ingredients.
Last, add nuts and vanilla.
Bake in 8 x 8-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
