Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
    1 pkg. chocolate chips (about 10 oz.)
    3 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt chocolate, milk and sugar.
    Cool.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites (beat egg whites with 1 teaspoon cream of tartar for stiffer egg whites).
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Chill for at least 4 hours.
    Serve with whipped cream.
