White Chocolate Macadamian Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 large egg
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. white chocolate flavored baking bars, cut into chunks
    1 (7 oz.) jar Macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
Preparation
    Beat butter and shortening at medium speed with an electric mixer until soft and creamy.
    Gradually add sugars, beating well. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
    Combine flour, soda and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating well.
    Stir in white chocolate and nuts.
