No Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped dates and coconut
    1/2 c. chopped apples
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    2 well beaten eggs
    3 tsp. liquid sweetener
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    chopped nuts (if you wish)
Preparation
    Boil raisins, chopped dates and coconut, chopped apples and water together for 3 minutes.
    Add vegetable shortening.
    Cool this mixture, then add eggs, sweetener, vanilla, flour, soda and chopped nuts, if you wish.
    Mix and refrigerate until well chilled.
    Drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cool and refrigerate in an airtight container.
