Ham Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground ham
    2 lb. fresh ground pork (not sausage)
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. crushed saltine crackers
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and form into a loaf.
    Place in deep baking dish or pan (9 x 12-inches).
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Pour off any excess grease.
    Add topping and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0. Baste every 10 minutes for at least the last hour (very important).
