Mashed Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
5 eggs
1/2 c. Crisco
1 square melted chocolate
1 c. sour cream
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Preparation

Sift together first 8 dry ingredients in a bowl.
Set aside. Beat together eggs, Crisco, chocolate, sour cream, potatoes and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and beat again.
Fold in chopped walnuts.
Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. When cool, spread with cream cheese frosting.
