Ingredients

1 c. chocolate chips
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation

Put chocolate in double boiler to melt.
Beat egg whites and salt until foamy throughout.
Add sugar gradually, beating after each addition, until sugar is well blended.
Beat until egg whites stand in stiff peaks.
Add vinegar and vanilla.
Beat well (entire process takes about 10 minutes).
Fold in chocolate, coconut and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Makes 2 1/2 to 3 dozen.
A nice party cookie.
