Bacon Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, cut in 1-inch pieces
    5 large potatoes, diced
    5 large onions, chopped
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Put all in a heavy pot.
    Cover with water.
    Simmer until potatoes are cooked. Thicken with a little flour.
