Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    2 bananas, sliced
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 cans cherry or blueberry pie filling
    2 pkg. French vanilla instant pudding
    1 large container Cool Whip
    pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on box.
    Cool; crumble into small pieces.
    Mix pudding as directed on box; set aside.
    Place in large bowl or punch bowl.
    Layer 1/2 cake, 1/2 bananas, 1/2 pudding, 1/2 pineapple, 1 can pie filling and 1/2 Cool Whip. Repeat again, ending with Cool Whip.
    Garnish with pecans.
