Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. freshly popped corn
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. light or dark corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Cook sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in saucepan, stirring constantly, until it bubbles.
    Cook for 5 minutes without stirring.
    Remove from heat; add soda and vanilla.
    Place corn in
    a large roaster pan.
    Pour syrup over and stir well.
    Place in oven at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir 2 or 3 times during baking.
    Remove from oven and cool.
    Separate while cooling.
    Many servings.
