Pecan Petit Fours - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plus 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    1 c. plug 6 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 c. all-purpose flour
    vegetable oil for baking pan
    1 1/4 c. (packed) light brown sugar
    1 c. honey
    6 Tbsp. heavy cream
    4 c. pecans, coarsely chopped (16 oz.)
Preparation
    Beat 2 cups of the butter and the 1 cup of granulated sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy.
    Add egg and vanilla; beat until thoroughly blended.
    Add flour and beat on low speed just until dough comes together.
    Gather dough into a ball; flatten slightly.
    Refrigerate, wrapped in plastic, for 2 hours.
