Double Crust Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 apples (medium)
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 stick pure butter
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
1 heaping Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Mix sugar and flour together in medium saucepan.
Blend with 2 cups of water.
Cook slowly until boils, stirring constantly.
Add butter to boiling water mixture.
Add diced apples.
Cook until very soft.
Add flavorings and spices.
Pour ingredients into unbaked pie shell; cover with unbaked pie shell, sealing edges with fork and making small slits in the top pie shell.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes, until crusts (bottom and top) are golden brown.
