Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in a saucepan.
    Add brown sugar and egg; mix well.
    Add vanilla, dry ingredients and nuts.
    Spread into a greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
