Chicken Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. celery
    1/2 onion
    1 loaf stale bread
    3 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. grated carrots
    1 c. milk
    2 or 3 potatoes, cooked and diced
    5 c. water or broth

Preparation
    Cook chicken in water 1 1/2 hours.
    Cool and dice into large bowl.
    Add cubed bread, diced potatoes and carrots.
    Saute chopped celery and chopped onion in 2 tablespoons oleo until clear.
    Beat eggs; add milk.
    Add celery-onion mixture to chicken and bread. Add egg-milk mixture.
    Add seasonings.
    Stir.
    Moisten with chicken broth.
    Place in casserole and bake at 375\u00b0 for 2 hours.
