Christmas Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    4 tsp. milk
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Thoroughly cream butter, sugar and vanilla.
    Add egg; beat until light and fluffy.
    Stir in milk.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Blend into creamed mixture.
    Divide and chill 1 hour.
    On lightly floured surface, roll and cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes. Always double or triple this recipe because it only makes 2 dozen.
