Brown Stone Front Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    3 c. flour (plain)
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Beat egg whites.
    Mix butter or margarine with sugar.
    Beat in egg yolks; mix well.
    Mix flour, soda and salt together and add alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in 4 layers at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
