Peach Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    2 cans peaches
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick of butter in bottom of pan you are using.
    Add peaches (drained).
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Sift together flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Then add milk to mixture. Pour over peaches.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serves 8.
