Crackling Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. yellow cornmeal (plain)
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cracklings
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Sift cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda and salt into large bowl.
    Add cracklings, buttermilk, eggs and bacon drippings.
    Mix well.
    Spread mixture in greased 8-inch square baking pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
