Ingredients

2/3 c. dried apricots
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cover apricots with water and boil for 10 minutes.
Drain and chop.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Mix together butter, sugar and 1 cup flour until crumbly.
Press mixture into bottom of prepared pan and bake 25 minutes.
