Crab Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (7.5 oz. each) or 1 lb. frozen crab
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 c. milk
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    8 slices bread
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 lb. unpeeled shrimp
    2 1/2 c. shrimp stock
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    This recipe is adapted from one by Paul Prudhomme.
    The amount of pepper is half of what he suggests.
    You may want to reduce it even more since most people think that even this is too spicy!
