Frozen Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 carrot, grated
    1 sweet pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Grate cabbage.
    Add salt and let stand for 1 hour.
    Squeeze juice out.
    Add carrot, pepper and onion.
    Make a syrup of vinegar, water and sugar.
    Add mustard and celery seed.
    Boil 1 minute. Pour over cabbage and mix well.
    Put in containers and freeze.
    This slaw can be refrozen several times.
    Do not use blender.
