Meatballs In Italian Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 eggs
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. flour
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/3 c. celery, chopped
    4 c. canned tomatoes, drained
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. chili powder
    1/3 c. parsley, chopped
    1 whole garlic clove
    1/8 tsp. garlic, finely chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 garlic clove, chopped
    3/4 c. tomato paste or sauce
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Blend together ground beef, 1/8 teaspoon garlic, eggs, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese.
    Shape into small balls, allowing 3 tablespoons for each.
    Roll in flour and pan-fry until well browned.
