Lemon Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. shortening (3 Tbsp. oleo, 3 Tbsp. Crisco)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 lemon rind, grated
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Blend shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, rind and milk.
Then add flour, baking powder and nuts.
Beat at medium speed until well blended.
Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
While still warm, glaze with a mixture of juice of 1 lemon and 1/3 cup granulated sugar.
