Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 c. Quick oats
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1 c. chocolate chips
raisins or nuts (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine first 5 ingredients; set aside. Cream butter and sugars; add egg and vanilla.
Mix well.
Alternate additions of dry ingredients and pumpkin, mixing well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes 3 to 4 dozen cookies.
Eat and enjoy.
