Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. popped corn (2 or 3 bags microwave corn)
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Spread the popcorn on baking sheets and set aside.
    In a large saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup.
    Boil for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
    Add baking soda, vanilla and salt. Stir thoroughly.
    The mixture will \"foam.\"
    Pour over popped corn and mix well.
    Bake in a 250\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
    Stir every 15 minutes to coat popped corn.
