Three Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans green beans
    2 cans red kidney beans
    1 can green lima beans
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. oil
    1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash and drain vegetables.
    Mix in a small bowl all other ingredients and pour over the beans.
    Let stand for 12 hours, stirring every 2 to 3 hours.
    Keep refrigerated.
