Mexican Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. white rice
    1/2 c. water plus 1 cube beef bouillon
    1/4 c. tomato paste
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown the hamburger and onion until hamburger is browned and onion is tender.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover tightly; lower heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
