Homemade Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (16 oz.) can drained, dark red kidney beans
    1 (18 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, cook ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic until meat is brown; drain.
    Stir in everything else. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and cover.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
