Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    16 oz. Velveeta cheese
    1/3 stick margarine
    2 boxes broccoli
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. plain flour
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Boil 6 cups of water and then add the broccoli, onion, garlic powder, margarine and salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
    Cube cheese and add to this mixture along with the milk.
    Make a mixture of the flour and 1/2 cup of water and add to the soup.
    Stir constantly until thickened.
